South Euclid looks to Cleveland to save money for trash pickup

Cleveland suburb South Euclid has been in talks with the City of Cleveland to see if money can be saved by having Cleveland provide trash pick service. It apparently has the potential to be a win-win for both municipalities.

Offer to buy Acacia Country Club resoundingly rejected..

Cleveland Hts branch of Melt Bar and Grilled opened last Friday!

Cleveland Heights' newest restaurant, Melt Bar and Grilled, opened last Friday. Matt Fish, owner of the original Melt Bar and Grilled in Lakewood decided to open a bigger branch at the corner of Cedar and Taylor Roads. Read about it here:

Cleveland Clinic Band plays patriotic music at the Alcazar in Cleveland Heights!

This sounds like fun-- The Alcazar in Cleveland Heights will host a concert of patriotic music Sunday, May 23rd at 2pm.
Free and open to the public, the all-volunteer 30-piece Cleveland Clinic Concert Band
will perform patriotic music honoring those Americans who have served and are currently
serving our country.

The USO will be on hand to collect donations of personal care items for Care Packages
for our troops. Requested items include disposable razors (dark colors), dental floss, toothbrushes, toothpaste, mouthwash, shampoo, (plastic bottles only), magazines, slim jims and beef jerky.

The Alcazar is located at 2450 Derbyshire Road in Cleveland Heights' Cedar-Fairmount neighborhood.

Cleveland Hts. Office smashes sales record!

The Cleveland Heights office of Howard Hanna Real Estate Services smashed the monthly record of unit sales with 103 homes sold in the month of April! That far exceeded the previous record of 86 homes sold in May of 2005. How's real estate these days? Unbelievable!
